The Accents Podcast
On Accents, host Katerina Stoykova sits down with poets, writers, and artists for wide-ranging conversations about craft, language, and the creative life. Katerina founded Accents in February 2009 as a live weekly radio program on WRFL 88.1 FM in Lexington, Kentucky, where it aired for many years and developed an extensive archive. In 2023, Accents began a new chapter as a podcast on WUKY 91.3 FM, Lexington’s NPR member station. New episodes are published on WUKY’s website and distributed through major podcast platforms, and the podcast is also available through NPR. Over its history, Accents has featured hundreds of conversations with writers and artists, from internationally recognized figures such as Ursula K. Le Guin, Nikki Finney, Charles Simic, and Ada Limón to emerging and unpublished writers.
